Visual Artist and Painter,

based in CT

Emily Herberich is a painter whose work plays along the lines of the popular and esoteric, the figurative and abstract, and the political and mystical. She works with direct attention to the persistent authoritarianism encroaching on women, marginalized persons, and other living beings, and seeks to disrupt the “high/low" categorization often present in the visual arts.
